Gear Casing
Gear case has rigidity, strength, and high resistance to shock loads. The
casing for Gear Reducers is made of Cast Iron, Cast Steel or Fabricated
Steel. It is machined on special Collet or Sherman Horizontal Borers.
Bearings
Heavy Duty, Anti-Friction, Taper roller/Spherical roller/Cylindrical roller
bearings of SFK/FAG/ZKL brand are used.
Additional Equipment
We also manufacture housing of cast steel or fabricated steel. Special
seals of non-standard ratios, special shaft extensions, fan cooling and
cooling coils, internal oil coolers, forced lubrication systems and hollow
output shafts can also be provided. Cooling of the gear box units is ensured
by simple conduction or radiation through the housing. Additional equipment
such as cooling fans, cooling coil inside lower housing or external oil
cooler can be provided depending upon the heat dissipation requirement.
Inclined positions for installation and mounting can also be provided on
request.
SPECIAL GEAR REDUCERS
1. Crane Duty Gear Reducers -
We also produces crane duty gear reducers used in Overhead Cranes and
Hoists. The rating tables are for four classes of duties based on the
working hours as per ISI Standard.
Class 1-2 Hours/Day
Class 2-4 Hours/Day
Class 3-6 Hours/Day
Class 4-8 Hours/Day
2. Heavy Duty Gear cum Pinion Boxes-
Commonly used for rolling mills.
3.Pinion Boxes -
These reducers are provided with 2/3 output shafts.
4.Customize Gear Reducers -
We also manufactures a large quantity of customized gear boxes as per the
drawings and specifications of the customer which can be used for varying
applications.
Worm Gear Reducers
Type "HU" - Horizontal Under-driven units with input under
output shaft.
Type "HO" - Horizontal Over-driven units with input over
output shaft.
Type "V" - Vertical units in standard, stirrer & Heavy
stirrer types.
Type "VA" - Agitator/Cooling Tower Units with Extended
Bearing Housing
Type "UM" - Units with alternative adaptable feet for a
variety of mountings
Type "SM" - Units having hollow output shaft
Type "HUD" - Double Reduction with Horizontal Input/Output

SPECIAL PURPOSE -
Gear boxes for requirement of particular machinery or special conditions of
service. Optional features like special shaft extension, two high
arrangement, Flanged Input Hollow shaft are regularly made at our place.
Range:
Single stage reduction: Ratio 1 to 70, CD 2" to 17"
Double stage reduction: Ratio 150 to 4900, CD 2" to 17"
We also manufacture reducers with CD above 17" as per customers requirement.
Gear Casing :
The Gear Case had rigidity, strength and high resistance to shock loads. It
is ribbed design with oil filler, breather, drain out & lifting lugs
provided at suitable locations. The Housing is made of close grained cast
iron and is oil tight, Dustproof & waterproof.
The Worm & Worm Wheel feature optimum gear geometry and meshing action
to withstand dynamic loads. The Worm is integral with shaft, made of high
grade alloy steel and is accurately generated to close tolerances. The wheel
rim is made of phosphorus bronze rim fitted unto a rigid center which is
pressed and keyed to the shaft. It is accurately hobbed on precision hobbing
machines.
Bearing :
Of large capacity on Worm & Wheel shafts accommodate all radial &
thrust loads. Bearing Housings are precision bored to give proper bearing
support & accurate alignment.

Lubrication
Worm Gear reducers are designed for splash lubrication of gears and
bearings. For special application forced lubrication is also provided.
